Selling my beloved 1920s Olds trombone with legendary “dancing bear” bell engraving.This is an amazing century old instrument that plays exceptionally well. The inner slide was replated by a previous owner and moves like butter. A tiny bit of wear on one of the stockings but not noticeable in the playing at all. I’ve used this horn on tons of gigs and recordings over the years and it’s been well taken care of. One or two tiny nicks on the bell but nothing substantial at all. The only odd thing to note is the custom drilled bell lock that a previous owner installed to replace the original friction fit design. Gets the job done! This is the L model which sports an 8” bell and a modern day dual .509/.535 medium bore.Comes with original case which works but needs a new handle.Sad to part with this but it’s time. Hoping to sell it to someone who will cherish it as much as I have!
